EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Successful completion of Personal Support Worker certification program through:
- the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities,
- the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges, or
- the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association; and
- must be a minimum of 600 hours in duration, counting both class time and practical experience time.
- Must be Registered as a Personal Support Worker
- A genuine interest in and knowledge of techniques used in caring for the elderly
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care or Community Care a definite asset.

A police reference check for the vulnerable sector, not older than 6 months, will be required upon hire.
